when the concepts from Pixar next feature Brave came out, I couldn't resist modeling this guy. This time I wanted to see how fast I could model this guy in Maya using an edge extrusion technique starting from a polygon plane. At around 3h so far, it looks like modeling in Zbrush could be much faster. To make that timelapse video I had Irfanview take a screenshot of my viewport every 1s then I sped up the whole sequence by 150% in my video editing…
