A film on the purpose and techniques of calligraphy. Presented and produced by Hallmark. Filmed at Hallmark cards during a visit by Mr. Zapf. Production manager Noel Gordon. Script outline Peter Seymour. Script editor Richard Rhodes. Camera Direction Frank Robinson. Associate cameraman Heinz Burger. Idea and direction Harald Peter.
Visionary and world-leading innovator Bruce Mau is participating in the visioning process to re-imagine the future of Liverpool. Mau’s visit focused specifically on Everton Park as a potential catalyst for change during 2010 Year of Health and Wellbeing. In a lecture at Liverpool Hope University, Mau shares some major recent initiatives at Bruce Mau Design studio that can be seen as case studies for this ambitious endeavor.
A film comprised of each spread from Zone 6, designed by Bruce Mau Design. The film was made because of Bruce Mau's frustration with showing a cover or a single spread to represent the design. Our work is typically sequential, the full complexity only revealing itself through the cumulative series of cuts. Montage, in other words. This film does a pretty good job at illustrating that reality.
