Here is a sneak peak at the new snow generator in OpenShot Video Editor. Just enter a few parameters, such as the number of snow flakes, speed, direction, size, etc... and sit back and enjoy the snow!
This feature uses Blender 2.5.6+ behind the scenes, and renders the snow with a particle simulation.

This is a sneak peak at an awesome new feature in OpenShot 1.3.0 (soon to be released). Enter the Latitude and Longitude of anywhere on the planet to anywhere else on the planet, set a custom world map texture, enter your own labels, set the color, and click "Render".
A beautiful animated map will be rendered and added as a new video clip in your project. This can be a great effect for certain types of videos dealing with traveling long distances.
