An hour before sunset today, snow started to fall here in North London. I took my new Canon 7D out and took some 720p60 footage.
Here's a quick edit of the footage slowed down to 720p25. No colour correction. The jelly effect is due to me using Final Cut Pro's Smoothcam effect - because all the shots are handheld.
The 7D had Canon's EF 24-70 f2.8 L lens attached.
This is a time lapse of the north roundabout at the Elephant and Castle in London at night.
The images were taken from my flat in Perronet House.
DeDomenici takes advantage of the inexact schedule of the London Olympic Torch Relay to show off his own torch (which was subsequently confiscated in Whitehall by the Metropolitan Police).
On October 30th 2008, to celebrate the opening day of Europe's largest city centre retail project - Westfield London, Richard DeDomenici handed out helium-filled balloons bearing the slogan BORED OF SHOPPING.
Richard's t-shirt read FREE BALLOONS.
FREE BALLOONS is a Bluecoat commission.

London belongs to all of us. Those that watch videos that include footage shot in London. Those that make videos when visiting London. Those that have recently come to stay in London. Those of us that have lived here all our lives.
