Addis Ababa - I visited Salem each morning for 17 days. Loving thousands was overwhelming, so I just loved one. With her permission and dignity, I recorded the world from her perspective. Watch them.
My interactions with Salem changed me. Bending to her level, greeting her, rubbing her back, kissing her hands, whispering in her ear that's she's beautiful, and her leprous eyes glowing once she believed it. These are moments I'll never forget.
