Pakistan Educational and Academic Resource (PEAR) aims to develop itself as a leader in scholarly and intellectual research in the field of Creative Arts in Pakistan. Our aim is to not only to bring the aforementioned sectors into the serious realm of research and development locally, but also to establish our Research and Development section as a recognized and significant contributor internationally as well.

Aims & Objectives
PEAR will focus on R & D, preservation & promotion, content development, teaching, consultation, and information distribution regarding media, film and creative arts in Pakistan and aims to:

• To engage in Published/Online Research for libraries, universities, government institutes and sale points locally and internationally regarding media, film and creative arts in Pakistan.

• Content development for all forms of media (TV, Internet & Mobile) and collaborations with International Film Festivals.

• To engage Scholars and researchers, faculty and students, in research and development in Pakistan.

• To create an interest in becoming more knowledgeable about the media, media criticism, media aesthetic & appreciation, media culture, media education and media production. Specifically, this includes public and private school teachers, parents, and others who work with young people.

• To provide consultancy to the Public office in suggesting ways to improve the quality of the media's role in local and state capacities (news coverage, political advertising, debates).

• To provide consultancy to Government and Non--‐Government organizations regarding development projects and design/development for media campaigns for such activities.

• To facilitate the public sectors (Health, Development, Agriculture) in finding ways to employ media education or help improve the media's information broadcasting around these sectors and other public interest issues.

• To Facilitate media practitioners and students wishing to explore solutions to issues of media policy, ethics, responsibility, and daily practice.

• To engage parents, students and other sectors of society in debates, workshops, talks and seminars.

• To sponsor and organize events of value to students, faculty, and interested citizens regarding all forms of media and communication.

• To provide a platform for media scholars, critics, advocates, and practitioners to participate and debate.

• To create a distance learning initiative to make programs, workshops, and events widely available.

• To establish a library of books, magazines, media resources, reference works, and newsletters along with an extensive Audio/Visual archive.
