Here in Chattanooga, Tennessee, we're building a scene for old timey Swing and Lindy Hop era dances. These videos were filmed by Byron, one of our regular dancers, on his cellphone. It was the 4th of July. I did not have my video camera. All I had was a Palm Pre cell phone, but funny stuff was happening. I did what I had to, clicking a photo every few seconds. What resulted: the best time lapse video ever!

The Lula Lake Land Trust was established to preserve the Rock Creek watershed located atop Lookout Mountain, Georgia, just south of Chattanooga, Tennessee. It's a beautiful park with several trails and two major waterfalls. Currently it's open two Saturdays out of the month, but plans are in the works to increase the park's hours. I originally saw this band in New York City at a little place called The Living Room. I brought back some CDs and played them for my friend Carly who instantly fell in love with them. She dragged me to a concert in Nashville and convinced the band to come play here in Chattanooga and then convinced the owner of her favorite bar to book them.
