Michael Schoonover lives in the small town of Beattyville, Ky. with his family in a one-bedroom house. He stopped going to school when he was in 7th grade. At 17, he now revolves his life around his family and skateboarding.

Red Fox, Ky., located in remote Knott County, is a historically black community in the hills of Eastern Kentucky. This narrative video gives a small glimpse into the way of life that makes up this coal-mining town.
