An animation for Vital Voices, an organisation working globally for women's independence. This film tells the childhood story of Kakenya Ntaiya, a Masai woman who negotiated herself out of an arranged marriage and convinced her village to collect money for her to study in the USA. She has since returned to the village and built a girls' school there. Directed by Aaron Kisner and Pistachios. Music by Dan Radlauer. Produced by Blacklist.
A complete rehaul of the channel identity graphics preceding the split into four Nordic MTV's. Serial Cut decided that it needed an animated promotional piece, the catch being Serial Cut is not a motion graphics company. The company need or use a reel and, though it seemed plausible idea, putting still images in movement was a real challenge. Tavo designed this acclaimed piece which blends Serial Cut works in a groovy masterpiece of movement!
