Formé de Roger Miron, Jean Larocque et Éric Rathé, Psychocaravane prend vie à Montréal en 2002 et publie un premier album éponyme en 2003. Le trio fait ensuite ses preuves avec son second album, A l’abri du convoi paru en 2006. A cette époque, on attribue au groupe un style alternatif-country près des ambiances de type western-spaghetti. Pour la création de son troisième album TWIST paru en 2009, un changement du son et de l’approche créative mène Psychocaravane vers un nouveau style qui pourrait être qualifié de psycho-twist.

With a first album released in 2003, Roger Miron, Jean Larocque and Eric Rathé now ride on for a third Psychocaravane trip. Both rhythmical and atmospheric, the trio’s music is reminiscent of a road movie soundtrack. Its second album, A l’abri du convoi, was released in 2006 and received a great deal of interest from the critics. With its third album released in 2009, TWIST, the trio takes on new directions and ventures into a genre that one could call “psycho-twist”. It is great music to listen to on the go or to simply lounge around.
