'Day Return' is a dark thriller set against the backdrop of the rugged Devon coastline. It paints a portrait of life at the very edge - where the land meets the sea and where life and death feel almost the same.
Ian is given a ticket to the seaside for his birthday - he isn't sure if he will return. When he saves Lucy, a suicidal teenager, from drowning - a present is returned to him he thought he had lost, an appreciation of life. But can he convince Lucy that life is worth living, and was Lucy's suicide attempt a cry for help or something more sinister?

These engaging works are screened and discussed at cultural and educational venues globally and online via websites, blogs and media channels on and after World Peace Day on 21 September each year. By releasing these short films as broadly as possible, on multiple live and virtual platforms, the aim is to effect positive social change and broaden the discussions around peace globally.
All of the works are short and dialogue free, removing any language barrier and making them accessible to as many people as possible.
