2001 April. The border region of Bangladesh and India is chaotic due to the Hindu-Muslim riots. Against this backdrop, an eight-year-old Hindu boy gets lost and finds himself in a Muslim household. As the husband and wife fight over whether he should be kept in the house, the safety of the family members is put at risk as security guards knock at their door.
