It happens. An American flag that was proudly flown over the RENEW Service Center in Sheridan, Wyoming eventually becomes tattered and torn. It's replacement time with RENEW participants very much involved.

First there were the regional games in Gillette and now the big ones -- the 2012 Special Olympics in Laramie. All three of our communities (Sheridan, Gillette & Newcastle) participated in three events: basketball, basketball skills and track. This video highlights basketball skills. Enjoy.

It's a big week for Sheridan area Special Olympics athletes. The week began with a torch run on Monday and will end with the Special Olympics events in Laramie Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Here's how it all started at the Sheridan County Sheriffs Office parking lot.
