I've been wanting to try my hand at video with a DSLR for a while now. Finally, after recently upgrading my D3 to the 'S' variety I can dive in.
This is my first attempt after spending a couple of hours in the local park just getting a feel for it. More info can be found on my blog post here:

And the music is royalty free and by the very talented Sydney Poma:

Taken on a three day trip to the very beautiful Istanbul. Hearing the Call to Prayer ring out around the city five times a day was truly incredible and although our trip was short (and unplanned - more info in the link) I wanted to capture something to remember it by.
More shot details on my blog here:

But equipment used was...
Nikon D3 with 28-70, 10 stop ND filter, Gorillapod Focus and Really Right Stuff BH-55
Music is by Rafiralfiro.

A showreel of footage showing the strengths and weaknesses of the Lumix TZ7 / ZS3. Full write up on my blog:

With a couple of hours spare one afternoon, I headed out to my local park after some recent snow in London. I had the latest firmware update on my D3, the weather was lovely and I had the idea of capturing loads of nice snowy wildlife shots, however on this occasion things didn't go to planned with me only coming away with a couple of photos. Too many people enjoying the snow, plus -5 temperature = not much wildlife! Still, always good to get out with the camera!
As you'll see in the video, one of the only shots I did take made it on to the TV the next day, which was a fun little outcome.
Footage filmed with my Panasonic Lumix TZ7 and stills taken with the Nikon D3 with 600mm and 1.4x TC.

My biggest passion is wildlife although here you will find not only wildlife videos but also tutorials, hints, tips and anything else I think might be interesting and/or of use to fellow photographers out there.

Just think about it… What if you were trapped under something heavy and the mouse was out of your reach? Scary, right? That's exactly why we have these keyboard shortcuts so you can still use Vimeo until the help arrives.
