Rinus Van de Velde
January 24 - March 30th, 2011
Artisanal House is presenting site-specific writings and large b/w paper drawings by Rinus Van de Velde.
Rinus's art is a strong visual but complex world in which documentation and fiction, reproduction and reconstruction intrinsically tie together.
This is his first solo presentation in NYC, in collaboration with Galerie Zink, Berlin.
SUMMARY: Installation piece by artist RINUS VAN DE VELDE in…
A short film about the Brooklyn based Haitian born artist, Engels.
Engels has been invited to participate in and have his work exhibited in the 2011 Viennese Biennale. This video was produced by Rebecca Foster and myself as part of a fundraiser for his trip there and to attract interest in a full-length documentary about this intriguing artist.
Filmed on Canon 7D DSLR.
captured moments... no narratives... still figuring this site out... much more to come... some very cool time-lapse and other meditative "little movies"...
Just think about it… What if you were trapped under something heavy and the mouse was out of your reach? Scary, right? That's exactly why we have these keyboard shortcuts so you can still use Vimeo until the help arrives.
