I accompanied photographer Lou Noble to film his photo shoot in Malibu in January 2011 with the lovely Jenny Boa and Amanda.
This was my first time watching Lou work and tried to capture the way he interacts with his models and the carefree, humorous mood he brought to the shoot.
It was an incredible time and will be a great memory of 2011. We were all laughing non-stop and the sunset was one of the most beautiful I've seen.
I kept the colors of the footage completely unaltered because I really love how the natural light looked. You will notice about half way through the natural light starts getting really rich and dramatic as the sun sets.
I just wish I took some shots of the water and the sky!
Shot with the Canon 5D MKII.

My friends Lucas, Sanaz, Jeff and I spent 5 days in Tokyo, 2 days in Kyoto in March of 2010. We tried to time it in sync with Sakura, and got there right as it began. My awesome friend Saiko, who lives in Roppongi Tokyo, met up with us and showed us a great time.
This was my first serious outing with my 5D MKII and let me tell you, it was not easy. This camera is amazing when you have your shots set up, but being on-the-go it was like guerrilla film making 101. Having to manually adjust everything and compensate for changes in environment was a quick way to get very intimate with the camera, and I'm happy with the results.
The firmware to allow 24p was released the day before I left. I had been counting down the days and I think the results speak for themselves.
This is by all…

Just think about it… What if you were trapped under something heavy and the mouse was out of your reach? Scary, right? That's exactly why we have these keyboard shortcuts so you can still use Vimeo until the help arrives.
