This edit sums up the countless hours of hard work and dedication that went into covering the entire MTBA Gravity Cup Series of 2011/12. From the Australian alps of Thredbo to the sub-tropical steeps of Awaba and everywhere in between, every round provided both myself and the riders with various unique challenges and experiences.
I'd like to thank Shawn and Brandon from VitalMTB, without their support I would not have been able to make it to every round to provide you all with the footage above.
Filmed edited and produced by Ty Bowmaker.

Ben Power is one of the many Aussies juniors turning heads on the national and international MTB scene.
Ben's moto style allows him to stand out from the crowd and earned him a spot in the 2011 Australian Junior DH Team.
Ben placed 23rd at Champery riding in the green and gold jersey for Australia and is a rider to look out for as he progresses into the elite competition.
Myself and Ben spent a day filming in sunny Coffs Harbour on the central coast of Australia.
Working with Ben was a pleasure. He was keen to try some wild lines and get a little rowdy on the bike, and what you see is the result of a hard days work out on the hill.
Ben would like to thank his sponsors for their ongoing support:

Chunked…
Just a bit of motocross footage for a project in progress.
This is my first attempt at filming motocross, so if you have any feedback for filming MX in the future, please leave a comment.
This is merely a teaser of much bigger things to come, and only a small percentage of what we filmed today.

Coming up to the 10/11 National Series, I was super keen to film every round from my perspective.
I was looking forward to putting together a short film at the end of the series that people could watch to look back upon the series, and enjoy watching some of the best talent in Australia and the world on a mountain bike.
With some of the world's best riders, including Troy Brosnan, Shaun O'Connor, Bryn and Rhys Atkinson, Rick Boyer, Rhys Willemse and Connor Fearon, aswell as many others racing the series, it was a great opportunity to film the whole series and would be a big learning curve.
Unfortunately after the first round, my camera packed it in and I was left without a camera for several months.
This left me with a whole bunch of footage left over from the first round in Hobart, and money invested to travel to the round wasted (Hobart is on Tasmania, that little island down to bottom of Australia, I live 2000km away).
So with a whole bunch of footage left over, I put together this…
Just think about it… What if you were trapped under something heavy and the mouse was out of your reach? Scary, right? That's exactly why we have these keyboard shortcuts so you can still use Vimeo until the help arrives.
