This channel is a series of short films and time lapse photography of coastal Georgia, many of which are of the salt marsh. I named the channel "salt marsh watch" because many of the films are of the expansive, tidal salt marsh wetland, which makes up nearly 1/3 of all the salt marsh found on the east coast of the U.S. If not specifically of the marsh, then they are either about the fate of the salt marsh under sea-level rise, or of lives and livelihoods that are intimately tied to the salt marsh.

I decided to shoot these partially for fun and partially for use in outreach efforts for my PhD research on vulnerability to sea-level rise. Throughout my graduate school time, I'll continue to add new (and hopefully better) pieces, so keep coming back to check them out.
