Sony Vegas 8/9 is a good choice to edit the files of these Xactis.

!!!ATTENTION!!!
For all users of the new Xactis with 1080p:
You can edit the Full HD progressive files in Sony Vegas Pro 8 using this little trick by RonScuba: "I use Vegas pro 8.0c I import a short 60i clip shot with the fH1/hd2000 to the timeline. Then I can bring in 60p clips. Don't know why it works". Thanx Ron!

    Just upgraded to Window 7 on my Dell 1735 Laptop. Before, it struggled to play 1080p footage from my HD2000, but now played through Windows Media Player, it plays almost perfectly!!!! Well done Microsoft for adding HD Codecs from the get go!!!!!!

  • ...iFrame means easy importing, editing for Mac users - iMovie pp., no need for converting into intermediates...
