Media philosopher und art historian Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich is a researcher in consumerism theory, pictorial worlds and the role of art in modern society.

Munic-born Prof. Dr. Ullrich is a professor for art history and media philosophy at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Karlsruhe. After his graduation in 1994, he embraced various teaching oportunities, among others as a lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich and visiting scholar at the Academy of Fine Arts Hamburg.

Pablo is Partner and Creative Director at Jam3, Toronto. Jam3 specializes in creating highly advanced, experiential works in both the advertising and entertainment industries. By merging unique interactivity with detailed design they produce engaging digital stories that incorporate everything from live action, animation and sound design to coded particle systems and complex 3D engines. They have been honored with more than 110 national and international awards in the past years.

One of their most-renowned projects, Bear 71, is an interactive documentary about a bear in the Canadian Rockies that illuminates the way humans engage with wildlife in the age of networks, satellites, and digital surveillance. For their meticulous work stitching together data points to tell a vivid and complex story, Pablo and the Bear 71 team have won numerous awards, including the Cannes Lions’ Gold Cyber Lion, FWA Site of the Year, One Show Interactive’s Gold Pencil, and a Communication Arts award.

For Denon's new line of headphones, Jam3 created VisYOUalize. Using the Kinect camera to capture 3D depth and colour data of faces, they then turned the recorded point cloud data into stylized music visualizers that move and react to music.

Media artist, director and choreographer Klaus Obermaier creates innovative works in the field of performing arts, music, theatre and new media, highly acclaimed by critics and audience.

Klaus' performances and installations are shown at festivals and theaters throughout Europe, Asia, North and South America and Australia. He worked with dancers of the Nederlands Dans Theater, Chris Haring, Robert Tannion (DV8), Desireé Kongerød (S.O.A.P. Dance Theatre Frankfurt). He composed for ensembles like Kronos Quartet, German Chamber Philharmonics, Art Ensemble of Chicago, Balanescu Quartet, and many more.

Since 2006 he is visiting professor at the University IUAV of Venice teaching directing and new media' Also since 2006 he is member of the jury of the international choreography competition no ballet in Ludwigshafen/Rhein, Germany. In 2005 and 2008 he taught as an adjunct professor for composition at the Webster University Vienna. Since 2010 he holds courses for choreography and new media at the Accademia Nazionale di Danza di Roma and the University IUAV of Venice.

Jeroen regularly publishes articles in national dutch news magazines Het Financieele Dagblad and de Volkskrant as well as international magazines such as Damn* and FRAME. His latest book Hands on: 21st century dutch design provides insights into the work of influential and upcoming designers and their production habits, among others artisanal working methods, rigorous conceptual research and prototyping.

His widely spread interests also cover aspects like critical design and open design. Jeroen is fascinated by approaches that transform viewers into users and creators of their own art.

Jeroen is currently working on his new book Do Dutch: Contemporary Dutch Design & Architecture and his exhibition New Democratic Values - A New Conscious in Dutch Design.
