'When what you see is not what you get'
The 2D version of the 3D short film by Alexei Popogrebsky.
We used the opportunity to test some concepts in 3D and see how it would translate to 2D, and vice versa. Originally commissioned by the Experiment 5ive project -- www.5gum.ru . (Hence the black envelope with the picture inside, which had to be the common element of all 5 films)

This short was produced as an entry for the It's Art Mag, 'Human Nature' Challenge.
The music was provided for the challenge by composer Justin Lassen, the track is 'The human condition'.
The story focuses on group's behavior, and the idea that we are all very similar but that the differences are much more potent than resemblances, especially if we are under pressure from work and society in general.

This is the fourth part of the MUTE series. Michael Higgs is the man who arrives at the bus stop. Kiki Kendrick is the woman who notices something out of place. But this channel is just about telling stories without a word, and not really about deaf/silent persons (unless they're alone in the film maybe).
