So me and James go to videotape a rally in Sacramento for a possible upcoming documentary. We get there late, and I don't want to stop and grab the tripod.
The first half of the clip is an example of what resulted. The second half is me running the footage through After Effect's image stabilization process. There's a little glitch at the beginning of the second half, but otherwise, I think it does a pretty good job. iMovie and Final Cut Pro could probably do it with less setup, but I'm a Windows/Premiere Pro guy, so here yah go.
Also, this is not an endorsement of the position presented in the clip.
Shot on a Sony HDR-HC7.
A simple, but effective way to get around having three actors and two guns.
A pre-release trailer for a documentary I'm working on about Game Wardens. This trailer focuses on the shortage of wardens, but the documentary as a whole will delve much deeper into the varying role Wardens play in protecting animals, rivers, and other habitat across California and beyond.
Special thanks to Matt & Debora at the DFG A/V unit.
