VFX created at Method Studios. I worked on a team of three people doing particles, debris, cg wheels and hydraulic system and rig removal, all to show a Hummer from the perspective of the mountain it is driving on.
This video is a demonstration of the 360 degree film we made for the State Grid Pavilion in the Shanghai Expo 2010.
Around 10 people at Mbox in Berlin, directed by Marc Tamschick, created the visuals from concept to finished versions, ove rthe course of 6 months.
I personally worked on the sequence with the city turning into flying cubes, into a rubiks cube, into "dancing" cubes. Also some of the elements for dropping into the earth and the lava.
This is a timelapse movie showing how I created the 3D Matte painting used in the Spongebob Iconic Deutschland spot for Nickelodeon. I created the matte painting then projected it on 3D geometry then made a camera move and transitioned between the live action footage of the boy into my matte painting. Additional elements were added and compositing done by Ian Hutchinson. The whole spot was created at Dyrdee Media Berlin. You can view the whole spot…
Several countries created "Iconic" Spongebob Squarepants short film and this is the one from Germany. Directed by the massively talented boys at Dyrdee Media. The FX were done by myself (CG Burger, Butterfly and the epic 3d matte painting end shot) Ian Hutchinson (animation, compositing and on set VFX sup) and Jochen Weidner (animation, compositing). Created at Dyrdee Media.

This job was probably one of the harder ones I've worked on. The amount of nParticles, tracking, set building, rendering with final gather, plus an immense amount of design work, a small team (4-5 CG artists and 4-5 Compositors) and 6 weeks from start to finish. I'm really happy with the result, though. My role was doing a little bit of everything and a lot of other things :) 3d Generalist. Created at Method Studios.
A collection of commercials that I've worked on over the years, as a 3D Generalist, Lead 3D Artist, On-set sup, Supreme Commander of Awesomeness and/or many other exciting arbitrary titles!
Just think about it… What if you were trapped under something heavy and the mouse was out of your reach? Scary, right? That's exactly why we have these keyboard shortcuts so you can still use Vimeo until the help arrives.
