"Le Fantôme de l'Opéra: Version Stéréoscopique" Teaser Trailer A (red/cyan anaglyph version). As featured at the SD&A 2012 Theater Session, the silent classic, "The Phantom of the Opera," was discovered in 2010 as having been filmed in 3D by a dual camera set-up common to silent movie making of the period. While this film was to be reconstructed as a benefit for the Florida Hospital Neuroscience Institute Parkinson Outreach Center, the project was briefly interrupted by Internet "Phanboys" who believed the work was a hoax. But of course that did not last long. The production is now back on track and with far more support and fans than ever before.

MUSIC: Toccata & Fugue in d minor by Johann Sebastian Bach:, BWV 565. Orchestration by Leopold Stokowski. The Philadelphia Orchestra, Leopold Stokowski conducting. Recorded April 6, 1927. Digital restoration by Bob Varney. Used by permission.
