  2. Taken in the central highlands of Spain, the autonomous regions Castilla-La-Mancha and Castilla-y-Léon. A region full of history and culture: The Goths, Romans and Moors have left their marks here. Don Quijote has fighted against the windmills here. This was the place of residence of El Greco, Diego de Velazquez and Francisco de Goya.

    The first time I've taken my dolly with traveling. It did a really good job. But see for yourself.

  4. Not sure why I filmed this piece. It was just something about shadows that had inspired me. So I wanted to see how it would come across on video....and use the natural outside light that's present on a very sunny day.

    On a quest to discover a successful way to of doing double system sound that was also inexpensive and worked well with DSLR’s Steve found the personal handy recorder by Zoom, the H4n. This device includes onboard condenser stereo microphones, XLR combo input jacks and delivers phantom power.

    After a lively discussion on the best practices for sound recording, the guys run the H4n through a variety of set-ups to emulate the possible scenarios that take place in the field. Scott Lynch presents a full demonstration of how to sync the H4n audio with footage from the 5D MarkII.
