As a 2nd unit cameraman on the first season of Pee Wee's Playhouse, produced by Broadcast Arts in NYC, I got to shoot this live action background plate of a punk rock pogo dance party. The footage was shot with a 16mm Bolex camera with people that worked in the film and art department who looked the part, and people literally pulled in off the streets from the East Village.
