The 17 TCA members are collectively exploring themes of critical interpretation, public speaking, and cultural participation. TCA members spent the first months at MCA Chicago looking at their world through a critical lens. Lead Artists, Jason Pallas and Carron Little led the group in exploring how artists tell stories about themselves for others to interpret. Among other projects, TCA members created video-self portraits as a way of saying, "this is who I am," and "this is what I think about in my daily teenage life."
The Creative Agency at MCA Chicago
The Creative Agency (TCA at MCA) is a new program focused on art interpretation where 17 teenage Members and two Lead Artists meet weekly at MCA Chicago. TCA at MCA aims to help young people make sense of art, themselves, and their world through the lens of their own creative questions and passions, and with contemporary art as a resource.
