We asked 100 people to share their feelings about the end of 2013, and the beginning of 2014 in the form of a spoken "release." Using custom software we recorded the releases, translating them into visual forms - unique to the tonalities of their individual voices.
As the London 2012 Olympic Games came, the original and talented duo deFORM (Jakub Pollág and Václav Mlynář) created new light object Transmission under the label of the Czech glass company Kavalier.
Thanks to the excellent lighting quality of borosilicate glass Simax which is usually used for Kavalier products the sculpture Transmission is an example of extraordinary light object. Transmission offers unpredictable and surprising lumino-kinetic effects from any angle of view.
FrieslandCampina, one of the world’s largest dairy co-operatives, wanted to tell a story about The Circle of Cheese reminding people of its goodness.
We took up the challenge to transform this charming story into a motion piece. It was a jolly ride with a strong focus on research and development. Being Dutch we’ve dealt with a fair share of cheese during lunch, but we’ve never worked with this unpredictable material in a studio. Resulting in (well, how to put this…) one of the biggest challenges we ever faced.
Always wanted to see what a combination of 1500 slices of cheese mixed with blood, sweat and tears and lots of love looks like? This making of gives you an insight.
