1. John Pomp is a craftsman, glass blower, lighting designer. The John Pomp Studio is located in Philiadelphia, but his work can be found in showrooms around the country.

The promo was filmed by Ron Risman of Cinematic Stories and Gregor Halenda or Gregor Halenda Photography Film editing by Ron Risman.

Visually, this was a great shoot. Glass blowing is such a beautiful art form and our goal was to capture the process, intensity, and craftsmanship of John Pomp and his team. Audio was a bit more challenging as the heaters that keep the glass at 2000 degrees made an incredible amount of noise. We captured audio using three separate audio recorders as well as a lav mic that we hid from sight.

Please feel free to share the film on your blog, facebook, or through Vimeo.

  2. The film follows the step-by-step manufacturing process for a pair of New Balance’s 577 Farmers’ Market shoes. Inspired by Farmers’ markets from around the UK, these limited edition shoes live up to their name and celebrate all that is British.

New Balance is the only athletic footwear brand to manufacture in the UK and the film provides rare, behind the scenes access to the workings of a modern day footwear factory.

  4. This is the 3rd part of our documentary series uncovering the process of making Scandinavian Damascus steel or pattern welded knife. Our team recently has joined one of the most skilled bladesmiths in the Baltic States - Chris. This movie is a dedication to him with an honor to his skills and experience.

Special thanks to the band Foreign Fields from Nashville for allowing us to use their song as a soundtrack for our documentary.

"It is a tragedy of the first magnitude that millions of people have ceased to use their hands as hands. Nature has bestowed upon us this great gift which is our hands. If the craze for machinery methods continues, it is highly likely that a time will come when we shall be so incapacitated and weak that we shall begin to curse ourselves for having forgotten the use of the living machines given to us by God."
