Welcome, this is video #4 of a 4 part series. This video sums up the benefits of movement education by comparing two children that started out with the same level of involvement and as documented over subsequent years that science tells us that with movement at the correct frequency, duration, and intensity, independence is achieved. Freedom is priceless.
Ashley was born in 1998. She was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. This 6 part series is to demonstrate how Ashley is able overcome disability to achieve abilities. The 6 part series took you from her birth through the year 2008. It demonstrated over the 6 parts that when you prioritize strength and movement and are able to teach and coach with practice, Ashley is then able to live a life of freedom that any other typical child can afford. The methods and continued work as you view the videos demonstrates if you give Ashley the opportunity to move, and follow some simple knowledge of how we learn to move once we are born you can see those foundational movements can be taught and learned and ultimately opens Ashley's world up so she has the same options, opportunity and accessibility to be whatever she wants to be in life. Every family should be able to give their child born with disabilities those same options. The rules of movement and how we learn to move as soon as we are born can be taught to those children with disabilities in order for every child to live a life that they have imagined. This part 6 shows a full lesson of communication training from the summer of 2008. The videos prove that with patience, love, and practice, that Ashley and all children with disabilities can overcome obstacles and achieve anything they set out to be. With each part the videos display the ever increasing ability for Ashley to move and be able to engage in the world just like any other child. So families out there that might have children with disabilities, those children deserve our attention and as the videos demonstrate deserve a life of freedom.
Ashley was born in 1998 and soon after was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. This part 5 is next in a line of videos showing the change from disability to ability when strength, movement and skill are presented in a progressional prioritized method. When practice of strength leads to practice of movement which leads to practice of skill is introduced with the proper frequency, duration, and time the results lead to independent movement skills in which opens the world of discovery to Ashley in order for her to be in control of her life choices. As throughout the series of videos hopefully it is clear that one with a disability or not, each child requires fundamental strength that leads to fundamental movements, that lead to fundamental skills which ultimately foster higher level cognitive learning cultivating a life of independence and freedom. This part 5 depicts a series of video clips showing you the progression of Ashley's communication training. Part 6 will show a full lesson of communication training.
Ashley was born in 1998 and diagnosed with cerebral palsy. This is part 4 of a 6 part series demonstrating how a disability can become ability. In previous parts you were exposed to individual exercises that Ashley did to strengthen each part of her body. This video shows Ashley putting those parts together to make MOVEMENT. Movement that makes a skill that every person uses daily in order to live a life of freedom. Ashley shows how children can turn disability into abilities.
Ashley who was born in 1998 and was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. This is part 3 of a 6 part series demonstrating the methods needed in developing Ashley or any child with disabilities to be given them the ABILITY of a life of unrestricted freedom. This Part 3 shows a series of video clips from 1999-2007 showing you the progression of movement. This is a continuation of disability to ability . This video will then lead you into part 4 coming next which shows you how Ashley continues to go from disability to ability. The upcoming part 4 will be a video of a full movement training workout. I hope that you are starting to see the progressions in Ashley's strength, movements and communications and with the proper FREQUENCY(days per week),DURATION( length of session), and TIME (length of program) the world of freedom becomes possible. Everyone on this earth needs to prioritize those 3 things- frequency, duration, and time in order to succeed in anything. When you prioritize frequency, duration, and time for Ashley and kids with disabilities, those so called disabilities - disappear and ABILITY appears.
