The Oracles of Kodungallur celebrate their festival in the Bhagawati temple, which usually occurs between the months of March and April. Fishing is one of the main sources of income in Kerala, and the fishing communities can be found along its beaches and backwaters. This short audio slideshow features the arrival of the fishing boats on Punnapra beach and the auction activity which follows. It was made during The Travel Photographer's The Oracles of Kerala Photo Expedition-Workshop in March 2012. All photographs made with a Canon 5D Mark II, 17-40mm f4 and 28-70 f2.8.
