As we celebrate this holiday season...
We remind you that Sharing and Caring...
Is something U students do throughout the year.
Like restoring the fragile ecology of Utah's magnificent red-rock country.
Or planting native trees along the Jordan River to curb erosion.
And spending quality time with residents of a local care center.
May that same spirit of giving fill your holiday season and the New Year to come. Happy Holidays from David and Sandi Pershing and the University of Utah!

Commencement at the University of Utah celebrates many things -- it's the culmination of time well spent...of hard work, perseverance, and the realization of a lifelong dream.
But it also serves as a launching pad to something bigger, better, and brighter...new beginnings and endless possibilities.
First Imagine. Then Do. In the classroom, the lab, in internships, and study abroad programs -- it's all part of the story that led the Class of 2013 to this final stage.
Noah Harper, a University of Utah grad student in biology, describes how his experiences at the U relate to his nonprofit, Benefit El Salvador, an organization that assists medical clinics in rural El Salvador.
