The Winchester & Shenandoah Valley Wards squared off against each other this last Thanksgiving (2007), and I was there with my trusty HVR-V1U to document.

This is the definitive release (R2) of the TurkeyBowl video, indicating that I've finally fixed everyone's names, and uploaded it here on Vimeo for juicy HD-ish quality. Enjoy!

My friends and I have a local all-single, all-LDS Rock Band group called "Band Practice" that meets in people's basements for the purpose of rocking out.

At this, our fifth "practice", we shot 3 full-length music videos. This is the first of that series, featuring the song "Dirty Little Secret" by the All-American Rejects. Shots of dancing and group mayhem are scattered throughout.

Footage was shot in 1080i HDV using an HVR-V1U, with fairly long exposures (30 and below) because of the low-light. Grain, vignetting, light-leakage and other effects were all from the Magic Bullet Looks plug-in, and the flash transition was from Noise Industries' FX Factory Pro 2. This video took about 5 hours, not including ingest or upload times. Brightness values and audio levels both spike out inexcusably, but since this was a casual job I'm letting it slide.
