'Damião' is a 'mockumentary' about an abandoned shopping mall's watchman. It is an adaptation of the play 'Damião das Chaves' by Pedro Estorninho, who also plays the title character in this short film.
'Damião' is a TeatroEnsaio / Porta 27 co-production.

'As Coisas Que Encontrámos no Sótão' is a magical realist short film experiment I shot over four half-days, with two actress friends and two crew friends handling semipro-at-best equipment. I'm pretty happy with the result, even though I left whole scenes in the proverbial cutting room floor.

It won a number of awards - Ovarvideo 2005 Jury Prize, FEST 2006 Audience Award for Best Documentary, Tom De Video ACERT 2007 Best Documentary, Arouca Film Fest 2007 Best Documentary - and was present at a number of important events including the Vila do Conde International Short Film Festival 2006, Videoevento Turin 2005 and Jovens Criadores 2006.
Narrated by Joana Vieira da Costa.
