On March 17 2012 Jessica and I set out across the country to chase down the colors in our dreams through fields and valleys, around rivers and cities, across mountains and deserts. Over the course of two weeks we covered 5158.3 miles, 17 states, 2 speeding tickets, we drove through a snow storm in the mountains of Wyoming, listened to M83, Appleseed Cast, Feist, Smashing Pumpkins, Tycho, Job for a Cowboy, Colour Revolt and the rest of our iTunes playlist about 20 times, heard Adele on the radio more than we care to remember, ate more gas station food than could ever be healthy, broke into Four Corners National Park and made out at the Four Corners in the pitch black desert night, and learned that the line between man-made and nature is blurrier than we had previously believed.

20 years ago I saw a scene from a film that still captivates me to this day, and it is the reason I became a filmmaker (its the rocket scene from Koyaanisqatsi). The water scene in this art/fashion film is my tribute to it: vimeo.com/42809211
Just think about it… What if you were trapped under something heavy and the mouse was out of your reach? Scary, right? That's exactly why we have these keyboard shortcuts so you can still use Vimeo until the help arrives.
