WAHALA is a 26min digital and TV show supporting and exposing new upcoming fresh talent from Africa. With undeniable global appeal, those artists simultaneously challenge deeply rooted perceptions of what African music should sound like in the 21st century but also empower various and disparate communities all around the world.
Hosted and produced by versatile Rwandan born DJ and cultural activist Eric Soul.
Wahala will take you where no music show has gone before. WAHALA unearth big players we should not ignore in this new digital era.

When VOXAFRICA shout:” Wahala!!”, the world is invited to the party! Featuring on location interviews with artists, live performances and most importantly, the best music videos coming out of the Motherland and the Diaspora...

Wahala is an hour-long snapshot intro to the AFRO music world and a glimpse of the massive impact African music is having on global culture today. The Re-evolution will be broadcast!!!
Wahala is for everyone - from the Parisian suburbs to the street-wise youth of London or Toronto, those living in the township of Alexandra or on the shore of Zingachor in Senegal, Wahala offers an unprecedented insight into contemporary African music.
As Africa explodes with talents, ideas and creativity that cross culture and geographical boundaries, VoxAfrica is the reflection of an Africa in motion. Wahala aims to fill a large void existing between commercial music and the quality level being created on the continent in the 21st century.
This isn’t some instructional, Afro-by-numbers, label-dictated led initiative, the program Wahala will bring to the viewer an insider's access to the most contagious, influential, important and empowering global manifestation of Africaness since Fela Kuti unleashed his un-compromising Afro-beat movement decades ago.
