Emma Jones talks about the event held at The Lanternhouse in Ulverston, where local business people were invited to come and hear from two stalwarts of the retail industry in Cumbria. The two speakers were Sarah Dunning of Westmorland, and Edwin Booth, Chairman of Booths Supermarkets.

On 9th May 2008, Phil Powell, founder of WeMakeMedia, spoke to students at Lancaster University as part of the "Insight to Creative & Media Careers" event organised by CEEC.

As an experienced practitioner in New Media, Phil introduces a brief history of the industry, and then explores his 10 commandments for following a good work ethic, before concluding with some of his ideas about where the industry is heading in the future.
