Flew a couple flights with our Cinestar 6 hexakopter over the Whitefish Mountain Resort during the Rail Jam, Torchlight Parade and Fireworks. I used the Panny GH2 with the 14-42 lens at ISO 2000, 1/30th, f3.5 and Standard for the lit scenes and ISO 1600, 1/60th, f3.5 and standard for the fireworks. At the end of April, the owners of the Alpinglow Inn began demolition of a long-standing icon at Whitefish Mountain Resort. The building was built by the resort owners in 1968 and sold to individual investors at $9,951 per each of the 54 rooms. It was the first vacation condominium project in Montana. Since 2007, Whitefish Mountain Resort has been offering 50% off lift tickets, free equipment rentals, 50% off group lessons, and 25-50% off lodging to active-duty and retired military personnel and their spouses and dependents. On Saturday, January 16, 2010 the Montana National Guard presented resort CEO Dan Graves with an award recognizing this discount program.
