The dream ..
Many try to remember, others are marked, but he persists in the realm of the unconscious and all our experiences that shape us as human beings.
This is about escape, to give free rein once again to this part of our subconscious, that freedom which is one of the few that we have and we call 'imagination'.
The simplicity of things, emotions, feelings ..and more generally, of life.

Au final beaucoup essayent de se le rappeler, d'autres en sont marqués mais il persiste dans le domaine de l'inconscient et de toutes nos expériences qui nous façonnent en tant qu'être humain.
Il est ici question de s'évader de laisser libre cours…

I shot this film over the course of a year. It then took me few months to edit and color grade it.
Synopsis:
Winter 2010, the stunning landscape of Iceland succumbs to the Arctic cold. Beaches and lakes get frozen, but something unexpected is going to happen... the earth shakes, warms up, and suddenly a big crack opens up at the top of the glacier Eyjafjallajokull. Lava, smoke, ash and fire come up from the depth of the earth, melting everything in its path.
Shot with the Canon 7D and 5D MarkII using Canon & Carl Zeiss lenses.

I spent a week capturing one of the biggest aurora borealis shows in recent years.
Shot in and around Kirkenes and Pas National Park bordering Russia, at 70 degree north and 30 degrees east. Temperatures around -25 Celsius. Good fun.
