Chantel Beam is a 22 year old photographer and filmmaker born and raised in Orange County, CA who currently resides in the Castro district of San Francisco. At the young age of 3, she began her classical training in dance. 12 years later, she picked up her first camera and made the switch to photography and filmmaking. Chantel is currently studying cinema and has an emphasis of cinematography. She is influenced by the works of John Waters, Harmony Korine, Gregg Arakki, and Walt Disney. The underground music scene, nature, abandoned places, fashion, and friends have always been her greatest inspirations.
