Christopher Capozziello
Christopher Capozziello is a freelance photographer based in New Haven, Connecticut, specializing in visual storytelling. Through his photographs, it is his intention to increase discussion and awareness of social issues.
His images have been recognized by the National Headliner Awards, China International Press Photo, Golden Light Awards, and the Alexia Foundation for World Peace. In 2006, World Press Photo awarded him Third Place in the category of Contemporary Issues Story, for his work on breast cancer, “A Diary of Healing,” for TIME Magazine.
His clients and publications include The New York Times, TIME, Newsweek, L'Express, World Vision, The Wall Street Journal, Christianity Today, and Days Japan, among others. He has worked with the Sun Herald (Gulfport, MS) and the Dallas Morning News (Dallas, TX).
