Chris Di Staulo is an award-winning commercial and film director represented by Michael Petrasek at The Talent House. Having directed commercials for companies such as Purina, Western Union, Google, and the Canadian Actors' Equity Association, Chris is a natural-born storyteller whose strong suit is conveying ideas through unique and innovative short form motion picture.
Chris has won awards for his direction at the Cannes International Film Festival, National Screen Institute, Toronto Film Challenge, and several others. Chris' technical expertise and focused work with actors has garnered worldwide attention. Most recently, he was interviewed on television’s “Daytime Toronto” for his fantasy/sci-fi short film “Somnolence”.
A graduate of York University's Bachelor of Arts (Specialized Honours) program in Directing, Chris' arts education consists of training with some of North America's top film and theatre artists. Additional training includes studies at the Tarragon Theatre, Second City Training Center and Etobicoke School of the Arts.
Chris is a member in good standing of the Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto (LIFT).
