I am a recent graduate of the University of Miami's Multimedia Journalism Master's program. My work there included contributing to the United Nation's "My Story My Goal" Millennium Development Goals project. My story focused on the importance of clean water in South Africa. I was also a member of the Multimedia team for the Special Olympics World Summer Games. I was able to tell the story of global ambassador Deon Namaseb from Namibia. Prior to that, I spent a decade in television production; I was part of the Technical Operations staff at WTVJ in Miami, and I was a producer for various reality/documentary programming out of New York.
