Chris Rogy is a current Fulbright Fellow and graduate student of Media Studies at The New School’s School for Public Engagement. In partnership with Building Community Voices (501c3), Chris' graduate work focuses on developing radio drama content with community leaders in rural Cambodia as a means to create critical dialogue and initiate positive cultural action.
Before enrolling at The New School, Chris co-directed a short documentary called Driving the American Dream that reveals the real and lived experiences of poor and working poor drivers who struggle everyday to support their families and afford healthcare. The program continues to air on MiND TV in the greater Philadelphia area.
Chris is also part of a tactical media collective in New York City called The Illuminator, where he is able to exercise his interests at the intersection of art and political intervention in the public realm.
