Christopher Michael Roybal was born and raised in El Valle de Arroyo Seco, New Mexico. In 2002 after graduating from St. Michael’s High School in Santa Fe, NM, Roybal relocated to Los Angeles, CA to attend the University of Southern California.
At USC, Roybal studied under elite industry professionals while attending the prestigious USC School of Cinematic Arts and Annenberg School for Communication. In 2006, he graduated with honors while earning degrees in Communication and Cinema-Television and then promptly relocated back to New Mexico.
Since founding Incredible Films, Roybal has created various projects in New Mexico while working to establish a truly self-sustained local film industry and provide film education and training for local youth.
Roybal actively works with Future Voices of New Mexico, a collaborative filmmaking project, to collaborate with local teachers to engage students at all stages of the filmmaking process, including pursuing careers in the industry.
Roybal's faith plays the most significant role in all aspects of his life, and he infuses his desire to make the world a more loving place into all of his films. Roybal intends to remain in New Mexico while developing his many projects and enriching the state through his art and outreach.
