I graduated from the Grad Film Program at NYU. I only really wanted to teach young artists, and have been a Film Professor for over 20 years. I'm also a reader for the Cinestory Script Competition, on the jury of the Newark Black Film Festival, and on the Board of Trustees for the Thomas Edison Media Consortium.
On the Filmmaking side, I produced, wrote, and directed two award winning feature films-- "Asbury Park," and "Bellclair Times," and numerous shorts.
Currently, I'm an Associate Professor of Film @ William Paterson University in NJ (I teach all aspects of film: Theory, Writing, Directing, Producing, Cinematography, Editing, and Visual Effects). Previous to WPU, I taught at Boston University, Columbia College Chicago, New York Film Academy, and I also taught the day-long, Senior Seminar for Undergrad Film Students at NYU.
