Christopher Leone is a digital filmmaker, TV series creator, commercial director, comic book author, and 3D animator based in Los Angeles.
Most recently Leone directed the second season of SUIT UP, a branded digital series for Fox Digital Studio and DIRECTV. SUIT UP is a comedy about the inside politics and money behind college sports. The first season, which Leone also directed, is a finalist this year at One Show. Prior to that, Leone directed the branded web series WOLFPACK OF RESEDA for Fox Digital and Kia, a comedy about an ordinary office worker who starts to believe he's turning into a werewolf.
Leone created, wrote, and co-executive produced the critically acclaimed SyFy mini-series The Lost Room, starring Peter Krause, Julianna Margulies, and Kevin Pollak. For his work on The Lost Room, Leone was nominated for a 2008 Writers Guild Award. Leone has also written feature film scripts for Sony Pictures, Miramax, and Dimension, and in 2009 wrote the comic book We Kill Monsters, published by Red 5 Comics.
Leone wrote and directed the short film K-7, which won Best Live Action Short at HBO's U.S. Comedy Arts Festival and screened at over 60 film festivals worldwide, including Tribeca and SXSW. Leone also directed the CG-animated To Build a Better Mousetrap, also a festival favorite. At Motion Theory, Leone has directed spots for clients including Disney's World of Color, Disneyland Paris, and Nintendo. As a visual effects artist he's collaborated on many Motion Theory projects, including HP "It Consolidates," Reebok "Wrapshear," and music videos for Beck and Velvet Revolver.
