I make performance, video and installation.
I also make paintings, drawings and sculptures, which are used as actors within performance and installation work.
I am interested in a visual and performance language that combines elements of poetic horror and experimental pop music, with evocative use of folkloric imagery.
I use my own writing and musical composition as spoken word and song/score for each project.
Most recently I have been developing a live art structure that shifts between Psychedelic Theatre and a kind of Surreal Grotesque Artist's Cabaret.
Other live art projects use outdoor locations such as public parks and rivers.
These performances are staged as an open film set; re-imagining sites as fictional spaces, set for scenes of nightmare lyricism.
