Francesco Ciavaglioli was born in Avezzano (AQ, Italy) in 1983.
Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia, his “cultural activism” is manifested in various forms, from participation in solo and group exhibitions to the conception of artistic projects (from 2010 to 2012 he was artistic director of the cultural center COMBO, in Perugia, and in 2012 he founded CALAVERAS STUDIO, a collective of video production). Among the latest exhibitions in which he took part: Strategies ghost at Palazzo Lucarini in Trevi (PG) Daedalus – Aix en Provence, Perugia, Tubingen, Kulturhalle, Tubingen, edited by Antonio Senatore (2013); SPAM! Postcards artist, Pastificio Ceres, Rome, curated by contemporary look (2012); CITIZENSHIP: the young photograph tells citizenship, Fotografia Europea Festival in Reggio Emilia, edited by Daniele De Luigi (2012).
He currently lives and works in Rome.
