Cinemuse Film Club

Cinemuse is JMU's premier film club, based out of Harrisonburg, Virginia. The purpose of Cinemuse is to educate James Madison University and the Harrisonburg community on the creative aspects of classic, independent and foreign films via exposure, discussion and analysis of such films. Cinemuse provides a place where aspiring directors, screenwriters and actors, as well as film enthusiasts (Cinemuse Productions), can meet and discuss the various processes of filmmaking. It is in the hopes of Cinemuse that through lively discussion and the viewing of quality films, a defined passion for the art of the cinema will flourish amongst the group and serve as a catalyst for more personal, creative endeavors.
